About Our Paint

We offer high-quality, acrylic and urethane based enamels to match most vintage and antique Jeeps. We are continually striving to expand our offerings and refine our formulas to accurately represent the colors that they have been assigned as closely as possible.

Acrylic Based Paint

Acrylic based paint is available in 12oz. aerosols, full pints, quarts, and gallons. Acrylic Enamel requires a reducer mixed at an 8:2 ratio.

Urethane Based Paint

Urethane based paint CANNOT be produced in aerosols. It is however available in full pints, quarts, and gallons. Urethane is a higher gloss paint, that is also more durable than Acrylic based paints. Single-Stage Urethane requires an activator and reducer mixed an 8:1:2 ratio.

Shipping

Due to shipping regulations, paints are considered to be hazardous material and can only ship via ground service. This means we cannot ship our product overseas and continental shipments can only be sent via USPS Parcel Select. We currently offer only UPS Ground and USPS Ground shipping. These two shipping services allow us to ship domestically within the United States or internationally only to Canada.

Aerosol Application

This paint is very fast drying. When applying aerosol, start by applying light coats, 5 minutes apart. Apply consistently heavier coats until you have reached the desired coverage, allowing 5 minutes of dry time between each coat.

**Important Disclaimer**

Much of the paint codes and formulas for the original Wills/Jeep colors have been renamed, reformulated, or even have gone extinct. Due to this we have had to reinvent some of the original colors. They have been reformulated as closely as possible to the original colors, but we cannot promise that they will exactly match the color of your Jeep. There are a number of reasons for this such as:

  • Wear - Over time colors can fade due to age, physical wear, and exposure to sun, heat, and water.
  • Factory Variations - Even within the same model year, we have noted variations in color. When these vehicles were being built they were mass-produced and as they were built color variations sometimes became existent.
